I am hosting a BOF in room 206 at 4:15pm today, Monday to present how we created the mobile version of the DrupalCon website. The mobile version will automatically load for all webkit based smart phones.

So I've installed drupal and have a sense of how to create a custom modules, but I want to create a custom page with animations and triggered expanding menus. Could someone point me to a tutorial that addresses each of the things I want to do in this page.

Here's how I want my main page to look like:

In the center of the screen they'll be a logo, log in and a guest button. The background will be all black.

Hi,

I tried to add a user to my site but received an invalid email address error. However, the email address is in use by this person and works fine. It consisted of three letters before the @ and a valid .org URL of an existing website afterward.

I would appreciate any insight from others as to why this email is invalid to Drupal and how to fix it.

I am looking at triggers and the workflow module to determine if I can do the following:

I want to create a specific content type and when people add this type of content I want to upon submission send to a pre determined list of people with a specifically formatted e-mail.

Is there a module where users can enter their data and have that data published(after being approved by admin)?
For example, a user can enter their number of gallons of water consumed for the month, then have that data published in a couple of ways such as User A has consumed x gallons of water consumed per day, x gallons per member of household, etc?

Its barely been up 2 weeks, with 60 members registered, and all the sudden, when new forum posts are created regular members get this error

When I post from my (what I like to call God Account) CaptainJanitor account, new posts are created fine. When I have my admins who have a little more control over administration, it just asks them to save, as if hitting "save" was hitting "preview"...but when regular members post, the error above pops up.

Ive looked everywhere and googled much. Ive not edited anything manually, its all been through the Administration Side of the website....does anyone have any ideas before I just install phpBB (which I'm sure will be just buckets of fun :( ) and integrate.

When creating a story I wanted to give the option to upload an image.

I Installed Wysiwyg and CKEditor and switched on all required modules like IMCA, Image Cahe and Image Api amongst others.

Now in Wysiwyg I do have a browse button but this directs to the server and not to the persons computer locally, so how would i set this up to allow someone to upload an image from their computer to sit alongsidetheir story.

I´m quite new in drupal and I´m trying to build a ecomerce with ubercart. I´m using sermepa module as a gateway. Now the module is asking me to add a bank or import one. Is a bit complicated add a entire bank in that box!!!! Jokes apart... the Question is... do someone knows which information do I need to fill this box???

I have certain pdfs uploaded on my website.I want that only registered users should be able to download these pdfs.
To implement this,I am using the Private download module and it works fine. However,the BIG problem with this module is that anonymous users are unable to see any pictures.

I guess for this is that Private download modules makes everything in sites/files/default private .As a result anonymous users are unable to see the user and the product pictures as the default folders has all the pictures.

Please help me out as I'm unable to get past this problem for the last couple of days. I would be incredibly thankful for your help

they have made contact with a company called Faith Network to create for them a media player for their sermon series. The player is designed to dynamically change its content based on which sermon series the view clicks. unfortunately, the player does not provide typical embed-type code for a media player. Instead, Faith Network builds and hosts the player on their own server, and have requested us embed the page via iframe. The issue I am having with the iframe is that I dont know how to make the main content region in Drupal scale dynamically based on what the content of the iframe is doing. The external page that i must load is an .aspx page, if that matters.

I have plenty more information, including some script samples provided by Faith Network for anyone who can help. Let me know what information you need to be able to help me.

I had installed service module (project/services) in 3 local sites. When I go to /admin/build/services/browse/node.view and they all work.
I wrote a simple php code to test the node.view method.

The first 2 sites (run on acquia deck) work but not the 3rd one (run on wamp).
I don't think this makes any difference. But who knows? Maybe there is some modules Acquia preinstalled should be included in the 3rd site.

My php codes connects the sites using curl_setopt().

When I test the first 2 sites, the following code is used individually and it produces json data of a node correctly.
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://localhost:8082/services/json');
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://xxxx.localhost:8082/services/json');

When I test the 3rd site, I got error 'Invalid method'.
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'http://localhost/xxxxx_dev/drupal/drupal617/services/json'); (The homepage is at http://localhost/xxxxx_dev/drupal/drupal617.)

Since it is using the same code for testing, I wonder why the 3rd site is giving the error.

The query was performed and the data updated; however, the next screen shows the site is offline and this error message after saving the Drupal form to create a new page. Is this a problem with our web host server or our Drupal /includes/ files?

This is an example from adding a content_type; however, the site is offline page displays after almost any form submission.

I've been reading and reading and reading...For some reason I just can't
figure this out. I have Drupal 6.6 but it says there is an update to 6.16 and
also a security update. I believe that I have downloaded the 2 updates and
uncompressed them using 7-Z...
This is my problem, I am using php myadmin (i think) I am Completely a Newbie
not just a newbie. How do I get the download to my website on Drupal?
Drupal should have a baby steps guide ..... Hahahaha....
If anyone thinks they can explain in baby steps maybe I could catch on..

I'm trying to figure out how to change some html around for a panel pane in one of my layouts. The panel page is for my node page and I need to change some html around in the pane containing my node. I have tried copying the panel-pane.tpl.php file from modules/panels/templates and renaming it according to my layout, but that isnt working. What can I do?

I have an event that references different kinds of speakers in multiple nodereference fields: master moderators, moderators, speakers (generic), panelists, and featured speakers. For a speaker list page, I'm toying with the reverse_node_reference module to look at the parent event to reference what event categories are, and show an exposed filter. Oww my brain cells.

This kinda works, but I have to show 5 exposed filters for master moderators, moderators, speakers (generic), panelists, and featured speakers. I Don't want this. I want one filter for all speakers together to narrow down by what kind of events they are participating in.
OR: I just want to group the speaker view by parent event's category with no exposed filter.

Any thoughts on how to stick a fork in it? I thought about playing with nodereferrer but see the same issues happening so far. Or am I wrong?
